Kate leads workshops and trainings for students around the country and is a popular writer, lecturer, teacher trainer, and yoga therapist. She is known for her practical, straightforward approach, her clarity and authenticity, and her relatable examples.
She has been profiled in Yoga + Joyful Living (Yoga International), Yoga Journal, the San Francisco Chronicle, and in the film, Yoga Woman. She is widely recognized among yoga teachers as an authority, particularly on the practical application of Patanjali’s yoga sutra. Kate is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT certified yoga teacher trainer, an IAYT certified yoga therapist, a contributing editor for Yoga Journal magazine, and a guest lecturer for the University of San Francisco department of philosophy.
